2nd pregnancy

I was hanging out with my sister-in-law today and she noticed that I am starting to "pop out!" It made me excited! I carry so low that my belly looks like an over-sized pouch for quite some time, and people don't readily jump to the conclusion that I am expecting!
So I thought it might be time for a comparison. What do you think? (I wish I had cut my head off the first picture)!

The second pregnancy has been different for me. I have felt the exact same physically, but I have not spent the same amount of emotional time with this baby. Does that make sense? What I mean is that I have not focused my complete attention to this pregnancy because I have been focused on little Edward. It is interesting. I find myself sometimes forgetting that I am even pregnant! With the first one, I was reading something about him and my body changes every day in a book, thinking about names, wondering what he would look like, and laying around a lot!

#2 differences:
No name yet.
More exercising.
Lunch meat.
2 cups of coffee a day.
Go alone to some doctor's appointments.
Kicks more and earlier.

I worry about the transition in to a family of four. Little Edward and I have such a precious relationship right now and I worry about his little soul being sad when I have to tend to #2's needs. I also think about having to get back in to the infant mind-set. I love being able to put Edward on his feet and let him do his own thing - I forget how much you have to hold little babies!!

You look amazing!!
Casey's right about 2nd children. They just know to expect less and feel just as loved. Margot and Stella are best friends (with mild torture here and there). Having 2 makes it so you don't always have to be there since they have a built in playmate. :)
