In "Due" Season

Fall. The seasons of the year change and with it come new beginnings, but the season changes in our lives don't always coincide with the patterns of the calendar. So, as a new season begins, the leaves may not immediately change in our own seasons.

"And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart."
galations 6:9 (nkjv)

"Due" season is God's season, not ours. He takes him time to do things right.
He takes every opportunity to grow the fruit of patience in us - a fruit that grows under trial.

I joined a women's bible study last week and as prayer requests for patience were offered up, someone from across the room exclaimed, "Don't EVER pray for patience!"
She continued on to explain that whenever you pray for patience, the Lord will test you more to increase your patience and watch it grow.
I had never thought of it like this (as I literally pray for patience all day long).
So what do I pray for?
Conversations.
Conversations with God rather than pleadings!
